How you can help
- Time: Volunteer! We depend on the generosity of volunteers for several of our programs. If you are interested, contact our Program Director, Mizan Alkebulan at (510) 267-9770.
- Money: Every contribution counts! Your donation may help buy a book for OFS or go towards a teenagers trip to Ghana. Let’s support our youth with our dollars!
- Supplies: Do you have resources you could donate? Books? Gift cards? Items for raffles? Do you work for a company that provides resources that we could use in our programs? We need you!
- Support: Your support at our community events, fundraisers, or even as you talk to your friends and family means a lot to our youth. Just being present makes a difference!
- Your $55 donation will support healthy snacks for one youth in the leadership program over a month.
- Your $135 donation will pay for 10 books for Oakland Freedom School Children.
- Your $400 donation will send one youth to Camp Akili Summer Camp.
- Your $2500 donation will send one youth to Ghana, Africa through the Camp Alkebulan program.
