Camp Akili
Camp Akili trains youth 14-18 to identify and challenge systems of violence, racism, and sexism. Through personal healing students prepare to become change agents.

Oakland Freedom School
Oakland Freedom Schools is a dynamic six-week summer program that provides an African-centered learning curriculum for children ages 5-13 in Oakland.

S.O.L.O
(Sisters Overcoming Life's Obstacles)

SOLO is a sisters circle that works as a support system for young (14-21) sisters to discuss what is impacting them day to day. SOLO meets @ LE offices every Mondays, 4:30 - 6:30pm.

M.E.C.C.A
(Men Educating Culturaly Conscious Africans)

MECCA is a brothers circle that works as a support system for young (14-21) brothers to discuss what is impacting them day to day. MECCA meets @ LE offices every Thursday, 6-8pm.

Youth Leadership Programs
Develop and implement leadership training modules that are culturally competent for urban youth and adults across the Bay Area (and the nation).

Camp Alkebulan
Camp Alkebulan is a global awareness program which empowers and trains youth 18-21 to implement a community development strategy in Ghana.
